Manager’s Message
As we start a new year, I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the people who make the Market special.
The Municipal Market, a public market, serves the community by providing a place for small businesses to flourish; it is an outlet for affordable fresh food, while maintaining a balance of history and a reflection of current growth.
This would not be possible without the hard work of our merchants, their employees, and the management’s support team.
Most of the businesses inside the market are family owned and operated. They work ten to twelve hours a day, six and some seven days a week.
Small businesses are the backbone of our great country, and I am so proud to be a part of this particular group.
If you have a favorite merchant or an employee of a merchant, please send a note to [email protected].
We will share your stories in the coming year.
Thank you,
Pamela Joiner
